19 March, 2020. Due to the world-wide spread of the Covid-19 virus and the likelihood of Tongan people getting infected due to mass gathering, the Ministry of Education and Training together with the non-Government Education Systems of Tonga, in their meeting on the 18th March 2020, agreed to put in place a number of measures to combat the spread of the virus and minimize the disruption on our students learning.
