Search Underway for Missing Fisherman from Nukunuku Featured

Report from Tonga Police stated that a search and rescue operation is underway for a missing fisherman from Nukunuku who was reported missing by member of his family on Wednesday 13 May around 7 pm in the evening.
The missing fisherman is a 63 year old man who left on Monday 11 May at around 11 in the morning from Patangata on a grey and green 25 foot-boat with 40 horsepower engine. According to Tonga Police, the fisherman head to Malinoa Island for a day fishing trip.
Search and Rescue team from Tonga Navy and Coastal Radio have been advised accordingly but no contact has been made so far with the missing fisherman.
Tonga Police informed that local authorities will continue the search and rescue operation while informing his family during this difficult time.
