The Action Plan Committee (APC) on Illicit Drugs will host the first ever National Symposium on Illicit Drugs on the 6th and 7th October 2021 at the Taufa’ahau Tupou IV Domestic Wharf for stakeholders and the public to share knowledge and experiences to promote collaboration and best practises on how Tonga can work together to improve its preparedness and response to the emerging problems caused by illicit drugs.

Dr. Pohiva Tu’i’onetoa, Prime Minister of Tonga signed and exchanged notes for Japan’s Non Project Grant Aid for the provision of a new tugboat on Friday, 3 September 2021, at the Prime Minister’s Office, Nuku‘alofa.
