Prime Minister of Tonga visited Samoa
25 May 2024. The Prime Minister for the Kingdom of Tonga, Hon. Hu’akavemeiliku and his delegation visited the Prime Minister of Samoa, Hon. Fiame Naomi Mata’afa.
As a sign of respect between the two Pacific Island Leaders they exchange gift’s as per culture and traditions.
Prime Minister Sovaleni and his wife Miss Fiona Sovaleni presented a fine mat or ietoga to the Prime Minister of Samoa.
The delegation also includes the Prime Minister and his wife Miss Fiona Sovaleni, Chief Secretary and Secretary to Cabinet Mr Paula Pouvalu Mau and Chief Executive Officer for the Ministry of Meteorology, Energy, Information, Disaster Management, Environment, Climate Change, Communication and CERT Mr Sione Akauola.
