TONGA A recorded its first win in the World Rugby Pacific Challenge as they beat Junior Japan 60-24 yesterday at ANZ Stadium. This was also the first game where the Japanese under-20 side managed to score four tries and gather a bonus point.

An Australian production company, Screencraft, has been engaged by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) to highlight some of the great work of ASC’s programs and partners in the Pacific, including the Kau Mai Tonga (KMT) campaign in Tonga. They are in Tonga to produce a short film of the Kau Mai Tonga campaign.
Tonga's involvement in rugby sevens tournaments seems to have hit an all-time low, missing out on a sport in the upcoming Wellington sevens.
There are only about 300,000 Samoans and Tongans in America but their impact in one of the most American sports of all time is huge.
