BUSINESS AND CULTURE
Poetry and transaltion by Professor Hūfanga Dr ‘Ōkusitino Māhina
Music by Kōmani Kamitoni
1. Diffused throughout the globe
Are the many beliefs of Europe
Sprinkling over the Friendly Isles
Scattering yet uncompromising
Overflowing yet tempting
2. There is a string of systems
Of economics mixed with politics
Of communism with oligarchy
Of fascism a rule of tyranny
Of capitalism with democracy
3. Business and culture
They co-exist yet oppose
One, the ideology of individualism
The other, a theory of collectivism
Resolved only by time and space
4. Globalised is the aeon
Reign of skill and wealth
I-Technology at the apex
Governance as its essence
Many cultures yet one world
Chorus.
But, what is your say?
Make your own judgement
Acquired only via sacrifice
Should you seek harmony
It‘s in the land of peace
