Government intervention in Pacific Games Council concerning: Tongan MP Featured
1 June, 2016. A senior Tongan MP has accused the government of Akilisi Pohiva of undermining the Pacific Games Council by trying to oust the head of the organising committee for the 2019 Games in Nuku'alofa.
The government declared vacant the chief executive position held by former Prime Minister, Fred Sevele - a move that forced the Games' executive director to back Lord Sevele and say he will remain in the position.
MP Lord Fusitu'a has told Pacific Beat, the Government's move threatens to tarnish Tonga's international reputation and, if needed, there would be enough support in Parliament to block the move.

How can a man with a dark mind and a black heart lead a country with limited resources?Apart from being Judgmental; Primer Minister Pohiva with his personal agenda destroy the country for his personal gain. The facts floated and unexpected. Faka'ofa ko Tonga.

Akilisi does does not know the meaning of diplomatic and international relation. We know now that it is impossible to change his mindset from a primary school teacher-gossip collector to a national leader playing in the international arena.
