8 September, 2018. Tonga Airports Limited will commence construction work for the extension of the Arrivals Area at Fua’amotu International terminal on the week beginning Monday 3rd September 2018.
The scope of the work includes the extension of the concessionaire space, refurbishment of the airport arrivals lounge, refurbishment of the border agency space and additional office space.
In order to maintain operational safety during airport construction projects, TAL wishes to invite airport users to comply with directions, instructions and signage at Fua’amotu International Airport.
TAL aims for minimal disruption to airport services and appreciates your patience, understanding and cooperation to maintain a safe environment during construction.
ITS, Reeves and ‘Ofa Construction has been contracted to design and construct the Arrival Area Extension project.
