Four men arrested with illicit drugs and cash
11 October 2023. A police raid on Monday, 9 October 2023 at Tu’atākilangi resulted in the arrest of four men identified to have been distributing illicit drugs in the community.
Those arrested included a 38-year-old from Ma’ufanga, a 36-year-old from ‘Utulau, a 42-year-old from Puke, and a 21-year-old from Hala’ovave. Found in their possession and seized by police were 12.09 grams of methamphetamine, cannabis seeds and leaves, drug utensils and TOP$7,479 cash.
All suspects remain remanded and are charged for possession of illicit drugs and drug utensils.
