30-year-old man arrested for stabbing in Ma’ufanga
30 May 2023. Police on Sunday, 28 May 2023 at around 4:00 am were alerted to a stabbing incident of a male victim which resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old male from Ma’ufanga.
The victim and the suspect were drinking alcohol with others where they got into a dispute, which led to the suspect stabbing the victim on his left thigh with a knife.
The victim remains hospitalized at Vaiola hospital where his wound is being treated.
Police investigations into the incident continue while the suspect is in remand under a criminal charge for causing bodily harm.
