Police arrested two suspects for possession of drugs and firearms
16 November 2022. Police officers at the Hihifo District conducted a search warrant yesterday morning at a residence in Haákame where they arrested two males aged 41 and 26 for possession of five cannabis plants, drug utensils, 1x 12 Gauge unlicensed shotgun and electronic devices.
The accused persons are currently in Police custody while investigation continues.
Tonga Police wishes to remind the public about the the ilegal possession and use of firearms and the illegal use and distrubution of drugs.
Tonga Police also urge the public to return to Police illegal firearms and warn the pubic about the ngetaive consequences.
