Dongguan Municipal Government donated 50 solar street lights to Tonga Featured

16 May ,2019. The Dongguan Municipal Government through the People’s Republic of China to Tonga has donated 50 solar street lights to the Ministry of Tourism.
In a handover ceremony this afternoon, the Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism Hon Semisi Sika and Acting Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Tonga, H.E Mr. Yang Zhaohui signed and exchange the handover certificate of the lights.
The total cost of the 50 solar lights is around TOP 150,000. Another batch of 50 street lights will arrive together with a delegation from Dongguan Municipal Government who will attend His Majesty’s King Tupou VI birthday celebration.
