“ So Dr Latu, Ministry of Health and Tonga Govt. have handed the death sentence to this group of people that make up less than one percent of the population. What a pathetic logic. Whether it's .0001% or 99.9%, they're still people who deserve to be saved, cared for and treated as people and not mere STATISITCS!!! so the number game has infected our health system as well. And who gave Dr Latu, Dr Piukala etc. the right to decide who dies and who lives? Why is it that some people's lives are cheaper and less important than others? Isn't it the Government's responsibility to care for all citizens? This clearly shows the attitude of this government and its supporters.
We heard from the grapevine that the pm will be evacuated to NZ for medical treatment in the next few days. So where is the fully recovered that we have been hearing from the pitoa and minister of health lately?
