“ Did he mean for Vavau to become a Special Economic Zone ,not Exclusive Economic Zone we have to be careful because they have different meaning , it's definitely a brilliant idea if it becomes a reality . Increased trade , increased investment , job creation which is what's needed especially for Vavau , but we must also be careful that it is not a blessing in disguise , due to revenue losses because of the various tax exemptions and incentives . SEZ's can be taken advantaged of by traders to acquire cheap rates and put up land bank for themselves , but Government should consider this motion as something that will be beneficial to the people of Vavau . It should be a resounding YES ! ”
